Finished Ep. 3, "The Comb," tonight. For sure, this isn't the most well executed TV experience I've ever seen 😅

Still, the idea of the objects is intriguing, and I like that [most] of the objects I've seen or heard about so far have powers that seem random and unrelated to the objects' original purposes. None of that is why I'm taking the time to leave a comment about this show tonight.

I'm typing this now because I'm just so tickled with the character of Wally. His object, a bus ticket, sends anyone tapped with it to a road in the middle of Bumblefuck, New Mexico, just outside of Gallup. Wally knows exactly what the ticket does, but it appears that he goes about fucking with assholes and bullies by proclaiming that he's condemning them to Hell just before he banishes them to Bumblefuck. I confess the thought is hugely amusing to me, and I would absolutely misuse (?) the bus ticket in exactly the fashion Wally seems to be misusing (?) it 😂

I'm a 38-yo musichead and trail runner living in the Pacific Northwest.

I love music, and I listen for hours daily. Favorite genres include metal, hip hop, punk, and jazz, but I have no genre loyalty and I listen to all kinds of music in many languages. (Not that I understand many languages, but one doesn't have to understand every lyric to enjoy good music or to be moved by that music.) My music hobby is building playlists to leave breadcrumbs to all the new (to me) records I've listened to and enjoyed every month.

I also love to read and write, mostly sci-fi and fantasy. Favorite authors include N. K. Jemesin, Adrian Tchaikovsky, Brandon Sanderson, and Peter F. Hamilton, to name a few.

While I never watch movies or TV alone, I do enjoy watching together with friends and family as a means of social bonding. During the long dark of winter, my partner and I watch many movies and binge shows. Watching tapers off dramatically as the sun returns to our part of the world, but I dig the seasonality of the habit.
