Thick layers of clouds in horizontal sections in front of the setting Sun.
At the top of the image, a strip of pale slate-blue sky. Then a big band of amber and gray cloud, light across the top and dark gray in the center glowing with yellow sunlight a little in the center (right above where the Sun is behind the clouds).
At the bottom of that cloud is a lighted section, amber all along the horizontal ‘seam’ and glowing fiercely bright yellow in the middle- the Sun is obviously right above this part, but behind the big clouds.
Several more layers of clouds below that section, amber and gray and yellow cloud strips, fading off into a honey colored horizon somewhere behind.
At the bottom are the silhouettes of low hills, with some trees and houses sticking up at the top, looking like a black cutout at the bottom of the image, against the honey colored clouds.
